How It All Started
What began as a simple creative outlet quickly turned into something more.
Woodworking started as a way for Jeffrey Feldstein to unwind and bring ideas to life with his hands. Then came 2020. With more time to focus on his craft, people began to notice. One project led to another. Family told friends and friends told friends. The work spoke for itself. Before long, Waxhaw Woodworking was born.
What hasn’t changed since day one is the heart behind the work. We love creating custom pieces that feel intentional, functional, and made specifically for the people who use them.

More Than Just the Shop
What started as a hobby became something more when Jeff realized woodworking wasn’t just about building pieces, but about creating something meaningful for the people who live with them. In 2020, with more time to focus on his craft, his work began to gain attention. Through word of mouth, projects grew and Waxhaw Woodworking was born.
From the beginning, Jeff set out to build a different kind of woodworking business. One focused on thoughtful design, real functionality, and truly custom work. As the owner, he’s involved from the first conversation to the final install, ensuring each project reflects the client’s space, needs, and vision.
Outside the shop, Jeff values connection just as much as craftsmanship. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Mindy, sharing meals with friends, playing golf, and meeting new people. That same appreciation for relationships carries into his work with clients.
At its core, Waxhaw Woodworking exists to create custom cabinetry and furniture people are proud to live with every day.
